L'Oreal vs M.A.C by Isha Sharma on Facebook

Mac does not post that often. After looking at the last couple of posts I noticed there was a 2-3 days gap. The content that Mac posts includes tutorials on how to apply various types of eye shadow for different looks.



This is MAC’s most successful post regarding Fashion week. It had 2.3K likes on Facebook. This post also had 96 shares. I think that this post was successful because it had to do with the Fashion week which is a popular event for everyone.

L'Oreal
L’Oreal posts on average about 4 days apart.  They don’t post that often.




This was the most recent successful post from L’Oreal. I think this was successful because the event was about the Oscars which is highly anticipated for everyone to watch.

L’Oreal decides to use the 50/50 rule by having a post about international women’s day which was on March 8th.
