I am going to talk about Facebook page of Chanel and Kat Von
D brand. Chanel have 1.6 million likers and they post once every day. Their
posts contain stuff that talk about summer and winter clothes. They post the
images of new clothes for promotion. Also, they upload discounts and coupons so
that people become aware of upcoming clothes and cosmetics.
Whereas, Kat Von D have 164k likes and they post 5 to 6
times every day. In their posts they talk about the new shades of lipsticks,
eye shadows, eyeliners, mascaras etc. and also how to apply their new shades,
how to get different looks with their products. They let people know about
their discounts and coupons by uploading on Facebook.
In the recent post of Chanel they talk about the upcoming
watch #baselworld2016. In
this post they got 1.4k likes, 139 shares and almost 30 comments. By looking at
some recent posts I found that they post about everything related to their
product such as their about their safe use etc. Also, they post videos with
celebrities to promote their products. On the other hand they do not use 50/50
rule.
Whereas, in the recent post of Kat Von D they promote their
5 new shades of eye shadow primer and the discount on these primers. They used
keywords such as #kvdlook #katvondbeauty #sephora. They didn’t used 50/50 rule. after looking at
their recent posts I found that they talk about the new and upcoming shades of
their makeup products, discounts coupons etc.
These two posts were successful because they did promotion
of their upcoming watch and shades of eye shadow primer, which was liked by a
lot of women out there in the world. Also they will come to know about the
response of public about their new products.
